In this guide, we’ll show you how to program your Google Review Stand with your specific Google review link using the NFC Tools app. Before we get started, ensure you have the NFC Tools app installed on your device. If not, you can download it from the links provided at the bottom of this page.
Important Note About NFC Readers:
- Android Devices: The NFC reader is typically located on the lower back side of the phone.
- iOS Devices: The NFC reader is located on the upper back side of the phone.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Get Your Google Review Link
First, you need to obtain your Google review link.
You can do this by using our location ID finder and adding the location ID to the end of this URL: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=
Or by opening the Google Maps app, going to the business tap in the bottom right, and under the recommended actions section tapping on "Get More Reviews" and copying that link.
Step 2: Copy Your Google Review Link
Once you have the Google review link, copy it to your device’s clipboard. This will be the URL that you program onto your Google Review Stand.
Step 3: Open the NFC Tools App
Open the NFC Tools app on your device. This app will allow you to program the URL to your NFC product.
Step 4: Tap "Write"
In the NFC Tools app, tap the "Write" option. This will take you to the next step where you can add the Google review link to your NFC product.
Step 5: Tap "Add Record"
Next, tap on "Add Record." This will bring up a list of different types of records that you can add to your NFC tag.
Step 6: Tap "URL"
From the list of options, select "URL." Important: Make sure you tap "URL" and not "Custom URL" to ensure proper formatting.
Step 7: Paste the URL
Paste the Google review link you copied earlier into the input box provided. Once you've done that, tap "OK" at the top right corner of the screen to confirm.
Step 8: Tap "Write" and Hold Your Product Up to Your Device
Finally, tap "Write" and immediately hold your Google Review Stand up to the NFC reader on your device. Keep it in place until the app confirms that the URL has been successfully written to the product.
